We collect only what we need to run the story and the store.

What we collect

• Email address and Instagram username (when you buy, join the list, submit, or log in to the vault).
• Purchase records (product, amount, status). Card details are handled by Stripe and never reach us.
• Submissions you send (theories, ideas, cameo requests).
• Public Instagram comments on our reels, to count votes and understand the audience.
• Basic, privacy-friendly analytics of page views.

How we use it

To deliver what you bought, show your name if you opted in, count votes, send the emails you asked for, prevent abuse, and improve the series. We don't sell your data.

Processors

Stripe (payments), our email provider (transactional and list emails), our hosting provider, Instagram (comments and publishing).

Your choices

Opt off the board in your vault, unsubscribe from any email in one tap, or ask us to delete your data at support@thewrongwire.com.

Retention

Purchase records are kept as long as tax law requires; everything else is deleted on request.
